Money Talks podcast: A book report to remember
Parker won't let it go — and that's a good thing!

Halfway through chapter one, her emphatic thumbs-down shifted to a hesitant sideways thumb.
She tried to retract her sentiment the moment she exposed even tepid satisfaction, but it was too late.
By the time she reached page 90 — at 3:38 p.m. on July 3 — Parker couldn’t hold back. She approached me with words I never thought I’d hear her say.
“I wish I could make everyone read this,” she said.
Parker put up a 16-month fight, but deep down she knows her first book report, a synopsis of “Rich Dad Poor Dad,” wasn’t so bad.
Her complaints about my handpicked selection spilled over into episode 12 of the Money Talks podcast.
In this episode, we discuss Parker’s debut column, why we don’t publish Parker’s image and likeness (and how she feels about it!), Parker’s participation in the 5 a.m. club and what we’re looking forward to in 2025.
